Jewish Life in Grenada
Keeping kosher while studying in Grenada is possible. The major grocery store on the island, IGA, stocks many kosher items found in the U.S. that are non-perishable. These include canned foods, some starches, snacks, and others. However, kosher dairy products sometimes may not be available.
Kosher meat is currently available at the chabad kosher store in true blue, They offer Glatt Kosher meats such as cold cuts (turkey, bologna, and others) as well as chicken. (mostly Hod Golan or Empire Kosher) and local chabad shachita.
Kosher items are available almost all year.
